Crunchy Chickpea Snacks

Who else eats their food like pacman? I ate half a can of chickpeas just taking pics + vids for the gram ? I also stained my pants ?#truestory

1. Preheat oven to 400F
2. Wash and thoroughly dry chickpeas
3. Bake for 50-60 min or until brown – flip halfway through
4. When cooked, lightly spray with oil (I used avocado) + season (I used a low sodium BBQ seasoning)

*I recommend putting the oil and seasoning on after baking because the chickpeas get crunchier in the oven this way.

Chickpeas are a great complex carb with healthy fats as well as manganese, folate, copper, phosphorus, iron and zinc. The fiber and protein in them also help keep you full. Chickpeas can also help to reduce hypertension, protect against heart disease and balance unhealthy cholesterol levels.
