My grocery list is almost always full of whole foods and perishable products. Some of the foods that are always on my list are: tomatoes, bell peppers, cucumbers, spinach, apples, bananas, sweet potatoes, lemons, zucchini, carrots and lots of greens. I also love to include berries (fresh or frozen, depending on the season).
For protein I choose lean meats like chicken breast, fish and tofu. I also enjoy grilling chicken thighs too. On occasion we get extra lean ground beef.
We also always have unsweetened almond milk, peanut butter, 0% or 2% Greek yogurt and nuts!
